Jean E. Harris, Esq. brings a deep knowledge of elder law, disability law, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and estate planning (wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and trusts) to her practice at Pfalzgraf Beinhauer. Jean is a regular speaker in the areas of Medicaid, the use of trusts for asset protection, including the use of Supplemental Needs Trusts, and estate planning. Jean dedicates her practice to ensuring that clients take advantage of all legal mechanisms to preserve assets while ensuring they receive the care they need at home, assisted living, or in skilled nursing.
She graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a B.A. in psychology. A native of Western New York, she currently resides in Amherst and serves on the Board of Directors for the Amherst Generation Foundation. She’s also a proud member of various professional organizations.
